VIVALDI / OSIECKA / KILAR – THE NEW FOUR SEASONS | 300 Years of a Masterpiece

A unique musical project by Sebastian Wypych, offering a fresh interpretation of one of the most iconic works in world music – Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, celebrating the 300th anniversary of its first publication and performance in 2025.

These new arrangements draw inspiration from the music of Wojciech Kilar, include musical quotations from Johann Pachelbel, and feature the poetry of Agnieszka Osiecka, whose reflections on the seasons add profound lyrical depth to the program.

The music will be accompanied by live visualizations – microscopic images of nature that reflect the microcosm of life unfolding in rhythm with the changing seasons.

The evening will be enriched by masterful recitations from either Anna Seniuk or Daniel Olbrychski, guiding the audience into a contemplative and emotionally resonant world of sound and poetry.

Anna Wandtke – violin
Piotr Kopietz, Jacek Małachowski – accordions
Mirosław Feldgebel – harpsichord
Sebastian Wypych – double bass, musical direction, arrangements
Anna Seniuk / Daniel Olbrychski – recitations
