Musical Gardens Foundation
The Foundation has initiated and participated in the realization of other important musical events in Poland and around the world since 2002. These include: La Folle Journée Festival/Mad Days of Music, since 2010/, Zone of Silence Festival in the Royal Łazienki Park /since 2013
year/ and Composition Courses in Radziejowice/ since 2013/ and many others.
The Foundation also cooperates with Poland’s most important cultural institutions and organizations of its kind around the world, including music program distributors, and belongs to the IMZ International Music + Media Centre – a worldwide organization of
producers and distributors of music, ballet and theater programs.
A separate educational activity of the foundation is the “Children’s Musical Gardens” project, which aims to stimulate the artistic potential of the youngest children and educate them through art. This program is implemented with the support of the City of Warsaw and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
The Foundation undertakes activities in the field of promotion of Polish culture in the international forum, through the implementation of projects outside the borders of the Republic of Poland, including in 2012 a special concert in the Sagrada Familia, and in 2013 the implementation of the project “Polish old music in the Pyrenees” at the FeMAP festival in Catalonia, under the priority of Promotion of Polish culture abroad.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors plans to develop the Foundation’s activities in the above-mentioned areas of cultural activity, by constantly improving the projects implemented, providing them with the necessary funding, as well as by attracting new listeners and viewers through educational and promotional activities.
